Download and Sign Up:

1. Download the BAND app from the App Store or Google Play Store. 

2. Create an account using a personal email address (students should avoid using school email) and create a password. 

3. On the mobile app, it may initially take you to a sign-up screen using a phone number. Tap “Sign up with Email” toward the bottom of the screen.

Join the Group with QR Code:

1. Locate the QR Code, below: Find the QR code provided by the group administrator (e.g., a flyer, email, or website). 

2. Open the BAND App: Open the BAND app on your mobile device. 

3. Navigate to "Check Invite"

4. Click the "More" button on the bottom right of the screen. 

5. Click "Check Invite" in the first row of selections. 

6. Click "I got a QR code". 

7. Scan the QR Code: Use your phone's camera to scan the QR code.
